I didn't know what to expect here because I haven't read any of the other preceding five books in this series. Happily, I can say that wasn't an issue.
This was a quick, sexy and emotional read; surprisingly it read like a full-length novel. We really get to know who these two characters are and their backstory to explain why they are the way they are in present day. It's told from both lead characters' POV to get into their heads. I really liked the angle of opposites attract and that TS and Missy were 'normal' characters with realistic issues, thoughts, dialogue and professions. The only bad thing I'd say about it is that some of the wording for the love scenes was a bit repetitive at times.
