Review
Very hot and sexy read, but I think Impact would have been elevated from a good to great story without the BDSM elements which distracted from the love story between the hero/ine rather than added to it for me.
Specifically, the hero as an experienced and sought after Dom, was not very convincing to me as a whole. He seemed more unsure in the role and the D/s relationship than the heroine who is supposed to be very new to the lifestyle. It's explained that on the road he can't really let loose, but that fell flat for me. Other than that aspect, it was a well written, quick read with likable characters. There was a perfect set-up for the next story to be Conner's best friend which I'd like to read.
