Song of the Fireflies - J.A. Redmerski

I requested Song of the Fireflies on NetGalley a couple weeks ago, honestly never thinking my request would be approved because I'm not a popular blogger with a large following like NetGalley tends to prefer for popular authors/books.

Today I woke up to a wonderful surprise.  Me, looking at my email this morning...

My request was approved. I'm soooo excited.

I just love J.A. Redmerski's writing and have wanted to read this book since Bray and Elias were introduced in Edge of Always a few months ago. Excuse me for a minute. I'm totally...

I'm off work for a few more days and I'm between books right now, so this couldn't have come at a better time.

Now onto my impressions thus far...I'm only 15% in, but so far so good.  I'm such a sucker for a friends-to-lovers story. These two leads have been best friends since they were little kids....right up my alley. Mostly background on Elias and Bray and their relationship from childhood to adulthood at this point. They've just now declared their undying love for one another after a long estrangement.  There's some mystery surrounding Bray, specifically something has happened while she was away. J.A. Redmerski always has a twist up her sleeve, so let the ride begin...
